STRIVE® ACS Critical Pathways
The Acute Coronary Syndromes (ACS) Critical Pathways Program
is an activity of the Strategies and Therapies for Reducing Ischemic
and Vascular Events (STRIVE®) education initiative, which has been
developed by the Network for Continuing Medical Education (NCME)
through an educational grant from the Bristol-Myers Squibb/Sanofi
Pharmaceuticals Partnership and sanofi-aventis U.S. Inc. The program helps individual hospitals/institutions
improve patient outcomes by implementing effective critical pathways
for the management of ACS – from hospital admission through patient
discharge – that are consistent with the current ACC/AHA guidelines for
UA/NSTEMI and STEMI. The implementation toolkit items are now available on-line.
Toolkits
To help hospital teams implement effective, evidence-based critical
pathways for ACS, an online implementation toolkit developed by STRIVE®
faculty is now available for download by clicking here.
